Editorial policy
How the articles and case notes on this site are written, sourced, reviewed and corrected.
Who writes the articles
Every article on the Ayurveda Gokulam Clinic blog is written by Dr. Chaitanya Gupta, B.A.M.S., registered with the M.P. Ayurveda Board (Reg. No. 56576), who practises classical Ayurveda and Panchakarma within India's Ministry of AYUSH system. The author is never anonymous and never a marketing team.
How articles are sourced
Educational articles draw on the classical texts, such as the Sushruta Samhita and the Charaka Samhita, and on current peer-reviewed or government sources. Every educational article lists its references at the bottom of the page, numbered, with a link where one is available. Where a statement comes from clinical experience rather than the literature, the article says so.
Case notes are different. A case note is first-hand clinical experience about one de-identified patient, shared only with that patient's consent. It is labelled as a case note, it is not a literature review, and it is not a promise that another person will respond in the same way.
What we do not claim
- We do not claim cures, permanent results or guaranteed outcomes for any condition. Outcomes in a case note are described as what the patient reported or what was observed in that case.
- Herpes, psoriasis and other long-term conditions are described as managed, never cured.
- Articles are education, not diagnosis. They do not replace an examination, and they say plainly when a symptom needs medical evaluation first.
- Patient-identifying details are always withheld.
Review and updates
Each article shows the date it was published and, when it has been revised, the date it was last updated. Articles are re-read by the author when clinical practice, a source or the clinic's protocols change, and are corrected or withdrawn if they are found to be wrong or out of date.
Corrections
If you find an error, or a statement you think is unsupported, write to care@ayurvedagokulam.com. We read every message and correct confirmed errors on the page, with the update date shown.
